Synopsis
After the Christmas market in Tuam everyone gathers in John O'Mahony's for music and sport. A stranger and his wife enter and soon a contest is under way between this stranger and the town's champion - a laughing contest. The laughing becomes manic and everyone goes berserk. The town is thereafter called Bailegangaire.
