A landmark public space in Dublin city centre, Meeting House Square is often described as Ireland’s outdoor living room! This spectacular open-air performance space located in Temple Bar plays host to hundreds of free Temple Bar Cultural Trust events every year. The space is also often used by many of the 50 cultural organisations located in Temple Bar, Dublin’s Cultural Quarter and is an ideal venue for presenting arts and cultural events in an accessible environment to a wide range of audiences.

Located on the converging axes of several pedestrian routes through Temple Bar this well known space is also home to the famous Temple Bar Food Market every Saturday and a family fun programme during the summer the space is sheltered by a skyline of well known cultural buildings in Dublin.

Many well known performances companies have worked on Meeting House Square including The Corn Exchange, Fishamble Theatre Company, Rex Levitates and Candoco Dance Company. The square had also hosted the poet Seamus Heaney and musician Liam O’Flynn's The Poet and The Piper and the unveiling of the Rory Gallagher guitar sculpture by U2’s The Edge and many more high profile names and events.
