David Parnell

David Parnell started his career with the Dublin Youth Theatre, before training at the Samuel Beckett Centre at Trinity College, Dublin. He went on to become joint Artistic Director of Gúna Nua Theatre Company and has also worked as an Associate Director with the Abbey Theatre.An actor and director, Parnell has also written a number of one act plays. Plays not listed in the Playography are 'The Taxi' for A-Live Theatre and 'Crowd Scene' for Dublin Youth Theatre. 'Licking the Marmalade Spoon' was Parnell's first full-length play.
