  • Synopsis

    Callimaco, a handsome young devil has his heart set on a night of passion with Lucrezia, the wife of a stupid wealthy and impotent Florentine merchant - Nicia. Callimaco employs Liqurio, the manipulative move-puller, who sets about his task with cunning single-mindedness, calling on the services of the beautiful but frustrated wife’s mother, priest and husband in order to achieve the adulterous aim.
